About Maikan

Maikan Film Productions was founded by Aart Jan van Dijk. As a Director, Director of Photography, (Underwater) Cameraman, Editor and Writer he focuses on projects about sustainability and conservation. Often a combination of telling stories about passionate individuals or organizations and shooting wildlife and nature imagery. The belief in a society in which we look after each other, the strong connection with nature and the ambition to look after it for future generations lie at heart of the company and can been found in the projects we work on and people we cooperate with.
